A face recognition technology is defined as the process of identifying one or more people in images or videos by analyzing and comparing various features.In this paper we propose a system to eliminate fake voters and repeated voting.In this work different facial expressions and poses of individual person faces are detected and stored in voter database.If a person comes for a vote then his or her faces are detected and this detected face image is compared with images in voter database.If the face image is recognized then person is allowed to cast the vote.If it is not recognized then person is allowed to vote.After successful voting number of votes to the particular party will be counted.
