Abstract
A data warehouse is a subject-oriented, integrated, time-variant and non-volatile collection of data in support of management's decision making process. Data Warehouse provides an effective way for the analysis and statistic to the mass data and helps to do the decision making. Many commercial products and services are now available and all of the principal database management system vendors now have offerings in these areas. The paper introduces the data warehouse and the online analysis process with an accent on their new requirements.
