Abstract
Biometric is basically a collection of methods for identification based on measuring the physiological characteristics that are unique to each and every person. It includes security of computer based systems ,e-banking, mobiles, laptops etc. With the use of biometrics it can be determine easily "who she/he is" rather then "what she/he has" (card, token, key) or "what she/he knows" (password, PIN). In this paper, We have discussed various biometric techniques.
