An experiment was conducted to study, the effect of seed coating with polymer, polymer coupled with fungicide and insecticide on seed quality and storability of bhendi cv. Arka anamika. The seeds were coated with polymer alone, polymer @ 6 ml kg-1 + Thiram @ 2 gm kg-1 of seeds and polymer @ 6 ml kg-1 + Imidacloprid @ 1 ml kg-1 of seeds and stored in polythene bag for nine months. Irrespective of seed coating with polymer and polymer coupled with fungicide and insecticide, seed deteriorated and vigour declined with increased storage period of 9 months. The seeds coated with polymer @ 6 ml kg-1 + Imidacloprid @ 1 ml kg-1 of seeds maintained higher germination percentage, root length, shoot length, seedling dry weight and seedling vigour index followed by seeds treated with polymer @ 6 ml kg-1 + thiram @ 2 gm kg-1 of seeds.
