A Review on Effect of Machining Parameters for End Milling Operation

End milling is widely accepted material removal process. The process is used to manufacture component with complicated shapes and profiles. During machining the material is removed by end milling cutter. In the present work the effect machining parameters on end milling operation is studied. The input machining parameters such as speed, feed, depth of cut and type of coolant are selected and their effect on surface roughness and material removal rate is described in this work. Taguchi method is used to design the experiments and to identify the most significant parameter analysis of variance technique (ANOVA) is also applied.
