Title

MEASURING EFFICIENCY OF BRANCHES OF MANAPPURAM CHITS

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to measure technical efficiency of branches of Manappuram chits in Kerala and identify the sources of inefficiencies. The efficiency of each sample branch is measured by using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The study uses the employees and computers as inputs and sala and subscribers as outputs. The study provides useful insights to management by unravelling the sources of inefficiency in the branches of Manappuram Chit.
