Abstract

This Paper considers the study of convective heat transfer in a viscoelastic fluid flow in a porous media over a stretching sheet in presence of internal heat generation / absorption and entropy generation. Similarity transformation is used to transform the boundary layer equations of momentum and heat transfer , which are partial differential equations into ordinary differential equations. The proposed problem has been solved numerically using Runge- Kutta fourth order method with shooting technique. The effects of Grashof number, Prandtl number, heat source/sink parameter and entropy generation number on heat transfer have been investigated and represented with the aid of graphs.
