Abstract

This paper presents an outline the derivation of conservation equations applicable to a nanofluid in the absence of a solid matrix. The modified equations to the case of a porous medium saturated by the nanofluid in presence of heat source. In this paper, we have employed a Darcy model for the momentum equation. We do not anticipate that the inclusion of a Brinkman term in that equation will have a major qualitative effect.
