Purpose: The main purpose of the study is to analyze the organizational role stress among university teachers with respect marital status. Design/methodology/approach: the study was descriptive in nature and used Organizational Role Stress(ORS) scale developed by pareek(1993). With the help of this instrument, a sample of 597 respondents collected from university teachers were examined to analyzed the ORS. Findings: The study revealed that there is no significant difference between married university teachers and unmarried university teachers. Limitations: This study was limited only in Haryana state.
