With the instant growth of information technology, digitalization becomes an important aspect of the technological era. Digitalization refers transforming major aspects of human day to day needs into digital one. The transition of daily living from traditional to technological has made marvellous growth in internet across the globe. Digital India is the first step towards digital revolution. Indian government is making all possible and feasible way for providing the maximum services electronically. The motto of the Digital India concept is that to put India in front of the list of digitally developed countries. But to implement digitalization in the daily tasks is a major challenge. This paper includes the challenges in adaptation of technology,creating an awareness to common people about the benefits of digitalization, the biggest challenge of high level digital literacy for the success of digitalization and suggestions about successful digitalization. It also highlights lots of opportunity to grow along with the technology,including a favourable opportunity from electronic services to job opportunities.
