Title

Paradigm shift in Human Resource Management Practices through information Technology

Abstract

The Human Resource (HR) Functions have always been on the forefront of integrating technology in organization. Today, HR is not treated as a single function but is a collection of highly specialized capabilities. All Companies have realized that human resources are their greatest Capital for the growth of the organization. There is an ever increasing pressure on human Resources (HR) function to support strategic goals and to focus on value adding activities. Organization has realized the growing importance of using Information Technology (IT) in leveraging their HRM Practices. The present paper focuses on brief overview of the Changing Human Resources Management Practices through Information Technology. The Survey was conducted among 70 professionals from various sectors based on whose results the data shows IT is used extensively in the organizations to perform HRM Practices.
