Entrepreneurship is the significant factors of economic growth. The study was planned to evaluate the barriers faced by students of professional courses in choosing entrepreneurship as a career. This is a descriptive and empirical type of research which includes surveys and fact- finding enquires of different kinds. The research design for the present study cover‘s both the primary data and secondary data. A self-administered questionnaire was drafted based on secondary data collected yielded a Cronbach alpha of 0.715. Availability of finance has been considered as the major barrier towards entrepreneurial career followed by the availability of raw material and labour.
