In this paper we proposed real time vehicle overloading detection and prevention of system using load cells as sensor and internet of things to inform road traffic officer about the accidents that could occur due to overloading of vehicles and illegal transportation of goods as well. Our system aims to minimize the overloading and accident problems. Here load cells are used for real time measurement of weight of goods loaded into vehicle, NodeMCU an open source IoT platform to get weight and location with servers using internet of things on LCD, which need to be monitored by RTO, GPS module to access location of vehicle and circuit to control the ignition system of vehicle when it is overloaded.
