Title

MEMS Cantilever Based 2:1 Multiplexer

Abstract

Microelectromechanical systems are recently used in most of the applications may be digital, communication, power and many more. MEMS cantilever switch incorporate the advantages of the MEMS technology as well as enhance the performance in the respective domain. MEMS switches have better performance than the semiconductor switches, primary being non-zero power dissipation. MEMS cantilever switch is one of the more successful configurations. This paper presents the use of the MEMS cantilever switch in the implementation of 2 input single output (2:1) multiplexer.
