Title

Recycling of plastic waste by pyrolysis for sustainable development

Abstract

Plastics, which are non biodegradable, have achieved extensive growth in the industries and markets because of its cheap, light weighted, flexible and reusable but extremely hazardous for the society. Pyrolysis is referred to as polymer cracking which can be used for recycling of plastic waste. The key purpose of this design to find an effective solution of recycling and utilizing waste plastics and producing transport fuels that cannot be recovered by conventional and economical mechanical recycling. The scope of this paper is to design a simple, cost effective pyrolysis design for the production of gasoline, kerosene and diesel by the recycling of plastics. A clean combustion chamber with use of proper disinfectants is the key component of this experimental setup which will save the environment leading to the sustainable development. To produce an effective bio-solvent, thermolysis and its dissolution process of plastic polymers are proposed which will hence reduce the contamination of hazardous plastic waste. A novel approach is hence proposed to design the thermolytic and the dissolution design of various plastic polymers into bio-solvents. Appropriate procedures of optimal technologies have been analyzed for the fuel production by recycling hazardous contaminated plastics leading to environmental sustainability.
