Abstract

Education continues to be a major development parameter in India and is recognised as a fundamental right for every child. India being a democratic country follows universal adult frenchise which allows all adults to elect their leaders . Who then represent them in the parliament. Inorder to choose their leader wisely, people need to be educated and literate which makes education all the more important . It is important that we achieve hundred percent literacy but even after many efforts by the government,we have not yet achieved that target.
