STATEMENT OF PROBLEM A study to assess the knowledge and practice towards complimentary feeding among the selected mothers from a rural community AIM Assess the knowledge of complimentary feeding among the mothers of selected rural community. OBJECTIVES The objectives of the study were to: 1. Assess existing knowledge on complementary feeding among the mothers of infants 2. Assess the practice towards complimentary feeding among the selected mothers from a rural community. ASSUMPTIONS It is assumed that mothers from rural area lack knowledge regarding complimentary feeding and does not practice the right technique of complimentary feeding.
