As the world marches towards modernization in this 21st century, women are still facing violence in many forms. (physical, mental, emotional and sexual). This article based on the personal experiences of the writer highlights these various types of violence prevailing in various sections of the society and the impact of these on a women. Few in this male dominated society is having it hard to digest the fact that women can grow and even outshines them which lead to these type of behavior on their part..
