The present study is an attempt to evaluate the role of seasonal variation on Silkworm cocoon production rearing of Antheraea mylitta disease free laying (egg)of trivoltine Silkworm breeds were conducted at egg in sericulture department Ambikapur surguja district CG during 3crop in the year,1st crop July to August,2nd crop September to October and 3rd crop November to February in 1consecutive year under agro-climatic conditions.During the year July 2017-18 each crop of 10dfl egg used in outdoor condition.The experiment was conducted during rainy, Winter season in a completely randomized design with three crops the data on the growth of Silkworm and rearing performance as manifested each instar larvae,single cocoon weight,single pupa weight,single shell weight was recorded beside maximum climatic, minimum climatic, parameters (RH)in separate for each crop respectively.Result of the experiment have shown that the higher weight of cocoon in 2nd crop September to October so seasonal variation are some of the optimum condition required for the healthy growth and development of Tasar Silkworm under outdoor condition.
