Title

EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION ON WASTE PLASTIC ADDED ASPHALT MIX INCLUSION OF BAMBOO FIBER TO RISE PROPERTY AND RUTTING FREE SURFACE

Abstract

Pavements play an influential role in economic development of any country it provides effective assistance in transportation, Majority of transportation system is possible due to Pavements. These Pavements are basically two types Rigid and Flexible, Rigid Pavements includes the batching of Cement Concrete and Flexible Pavement consists of Bituminous with different sizes of aggregate. In addition of Waste Plastic with different Natural and Synthetic fibers to enhances Marshall Properties of pavements. In present analysis experimental analysis was performed on flexible pavements to determine temperature distribution with respect to time, in our study an experimental investigation was performed on flexible pavements with different percentage of Waste Plastic with Admixtures like Coir fiber, Bamboo Fiber & Nylon Fiber. Waste plastic and each Fiber are combined in ratio of 10:0, 9:1, 8:2, 7:3 & 6:4 respectively and adding 8% of Optimum Binder Content in flexible pavement mix. This Modified flexible pavement improvement in marshal Properties to resist ambient conditions in each climatic zones, Rutting Free Surfaces and No appearance of Wheel path also bonding Properties better than Conventional flexible pavement mix. In my experimental investigation found that waste plastic & Bamboo fibers adding in ratio of 7:3 respectively then obtain much better results to others Combination of mix.
