This paper presents a different switch pattern of three phase seven level Cascaded H- Bridge inverter fed induction motor . Multilevel inverters have the advantage of in achieving the best fault tolerance owing to its modularity. Modularity enables the inverter to operate continuously after cell failure at low levels and also permits the cascaded multilevel Inverter to be stacked easily for high power and high voltage applications. A seven level multi level inverter topology is introduced switching pattern of cascaded H bridge inverter topology is analyzed through thermal module of power electronic switches there by ensuring the minimum switching losses. This inverter provides higher output quality with low power loss with the induction motor drive.The aim of this paper to propose modification in topology as well as in switching pattern for seven level CHB inverter for reduction in inverter losses. This inverter provides higher quality with relatively low power losses with induction motor. The results are evaluated by mat lab/simulink software.
