Title

Design and Analysis of Intelligent Braking System

Abstract

This braking system was designed and applied on a vehicle for making the driving process safe by inserting system design.in most cases, an accident occurs due to delay of The driver to hit the brake, so in this research we have developed a braking system which is when active can apply Brake depending on the object sensed by the ultrasonic sensor, a distance of object and speed of the vehicle resent, vehicles are also equipped with active safety to reduce the risk of an accident. The most popular braking system include Antilock Braking Systems (ABS), Traction Control, and Stability Control all these systems have different types of sensors to constantly monitor the conditions. Of the vehicle that responds in an emergency situation. An intelligent system includes an ultrasonic wave emitter which is provided on the front side of the vehicle. Which sends ultrasonic waves in the front direction to a desire distance. An ultrasonic receiver is also placed on the front side of the vehicle which is continuously receiving reflected wave signal. The reflected wave gives the gap between the obstacle and also the vehicle. And RPM counter gives the speed of the vehicle. The microcontroller is employed to regulate the vehicle supported detecting pulse information to push or pull the brakes and apply the brake to the vehicle spontaneously for safety purpose
