Human Resource Management is the term used to describe formal systems devised for the management of people within an organization. The responsibilities of a human resource manager fall into three major areas: staffing, employee compensation and benefits, and defining/designing work. This paper deals with effectiveness of human resource management practices. It outlines the various indicators of on effectiveness of human resource management practices and such indicators are quantified and analyzed on the basis of five point rating scale. This paper concludes with some interesting findings along with policy suggestions.
