Title

A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF INITIAL BASIC FEASIBLE SOLUTION OF FUZZY TRANSPORTATION PROBLEMS USING ANOVA.

Abstract

A comparative study of the Initial Basic Feasible Solution (IBFS) of The Fuzzy Transportation Problem (FTP) with the existing Vogel’s Approximation Method (VAM) and the new method namely, Direct Sum Method (DSM) have been performed in this paper. The statistical tool ANOVA was used for this purpose. The result revealed that both the methods are equally applicable for problems.
