In the recent world advanced technology coupled with increasing price/ performance advantages, wireless accessibility is being deployed increasingly in office and public environments. Wireless local area network (WLAN) devices, for instance allow users to move their laptops from place to place within their offices. However threats are associated with recent technology. So it is the demand of the day to recognize threats and manage them. By this paper some security measures such as WEP, WPA, WPA 2 and usage of random numbers are discussed which include solutions for the sake of cyber security, so that security problems can be solved up to some extent.
