Water resources are directly impacted by climate change, and the management of these resources affects the vulnerability of ecosystems, socio-economic activities and human health. Water management is also expected to play an increasingly central role in adaptation. This paper deals with impact of climate change on water resources. It outlines the various policy options for adaptation of water resources in the context of climate change. Thus paper makes a special note on water and climate change adaptation planning, climate change water adaptation technology and developing appropriate action on climate adaptation in water resources. This paper concludes with some interesting findings along with policy suggestions
