Abstract

People working in any organization are from different age groups and also posses different personality traits, and there traits are reflected from their behavior at the work place. In the current scenario, technical institutes offering courses like B.Tech., M. Tech., MBA etc. also consider themselves as corporate houses and are in the practice of hiring multi-tasking employees. It will not be an exaggeration to say that such employees are next to the working managers of a multinational organization. The sole objective of this present paper is to study the perception and motivation level of the employees of such institutes, belonging from different age groups. Data is collected from the various institutes situated in the state of Punjab, India. Likert scale is being used to collect the data, and one way ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) and Chi Square is being used a tool to test the hypothesis.
