Abstract

Current TCP protocols have lower throughput performance in satellite networks mainly because of long propagation delays and high link error rates. The survey of various Transmission Control Protocols in Satellite Network is important and necessary for smart transport system. This paper discusses the advantages/disadvantages of various Transmission Control Protocols for Satellite networks. It explores the motivation behind the designed, and traces the evolution of these Transmission Control Protocols.
