Though there are enough historical evidences to support the theory that climate change is a natural phenomenon, many scientists are widely in agreement that the increase in temperature in the 20th century is anthropologically related. Changes in atmospheric circulation are caused by the differential seasonal adiabatic heating of Ocean, but it is so far unknown how global warming influences the monsoon rainfalls regionally. This paper reviews the relationship between climate change and water resources, variability and change in the trend (monthly and annual) of the rainfall over a small scale region which includes two upper watersheds in Narmada lower sub-basin and will be helpful to study the climate change's impacts on hydrology and water resources, so as to understand and planning and management of water resources, environmental protection, ecological balance etc.
