Abstract

One of the major causes of global warming and several health hazards is due to the generation of nitrogen oxides (NOx) and its still increasing day by day. In order to reduce the generation of Nitrogen Dioxides (NO2) or its derivatives, several attempts and analyses of heat and mass transfer been made on single droplet on nitrogen oxides (NOx) generation. The main objective of this study is to determine the fuel properties and the purpose is to switch from the fossil fuels to E85 without compromising the overall efficiency of the vehicle. So here we have used a blend of renewable fuel (ethanol) and gasoline in the ratio of 85% and 15% respectively with some modifications in it.
