In this paper, 5 years of quarterly closing prices and Debt Equity Ratios and Degrees of Financial Leverage has been taken into consideration for 20 companies of 5 Sectors namely Chemical, Infrastructure, Pharmaceuticals, oil and Gas, and Power industry in India that have been chosen with their capital structure in mind. This paper wants to examine the relationship of financial mix and capital structure on the stock performance of the mentioned sectors in the NSE of India. The variables have a causal relationship and while ignoring the other factors that may impact the closing stock prices of the said companies.
