The Western Ganga dynasty, which ruled over the region of Talakad in present-day Karnataka, India, from the 4th to the 11th centuries CE, was a significant power in southern India during the medieval period. This dynasty was notable for its patronage of Jainism, which had a profound impact on the cultural, religious, and artistic landscape of the region.
