Electronic blind mobility aid protects against obstacles such as automobile collisions and accidents that lead to great loss of human lives and can have disastrous results. The main aim of this project is to detect obstacles, pit, water and it provides an emergency key. When a person presses this emergency key on the mobility aid the location is automatically sent to the care takers whom we allot. Here, an ultrasonic sensor is used for identifying the obstacles that are present in front. In the same way an IR sensor is used to detect pits. When an obstacle comes near the stick the sensor senses the obstacle and signals to the micro controller which in turn will announce using the voice module. Similarly, the stick is built with copper electrodes to sense the wet floor.
