Title

MOLECULAR DOCKING STUDIES OF SELECTED COMPOUNDS AS A POSSIBLE CANCER INHIBITIONS

Abstract

Cancer still appears to be a challenging disease to treat. According to an estimate more than10 million new cancer cases were reported in the year 2000, killing around 6 million people. Therefore now a days studies are being focused mainly on the development of newer compounds for inhibiting cancer. Compounds namely Methyl salicylate, Diethylphthalate and 2-(1-Adamantyl)-isolated from Ascidian species like Phallusianigra were performed by Glide program. Among these three compounds exhibited highest docking score of 46.78 in Diethyl Phthalate. Thus it is evident in inhibiting cancer and it is a novel compound for treating this deadly discussion our society.
