Women's empowerment in rural regions has been identified as a necessary prerequisite for poverty dicreases. Despite the fact that women account for half of the Indian population, their involvement in different activities is still not equal to that of males. Society as a whole cannot be considered to have progressed enough without the involvement of women in the development process. Women's empowerment in rural regions has been a hot issue in recent decades, particularly in emerging nations like India. Women in rural areas are critical agents for India's long-term development. The purpose of this research is to look at the role of rural development in women's empowerment. The Life of Indian Women, the Need for Women Empowerment, Strengthening Women in the Rural Economy, and some suggestions for empowering the rural population studied.
