The internet of Things is a concept that not only has the potential to impact how we live but also how we work. The new rule for the future is going to be, "Anything that can be connected, will be connected.” The reality is that the IoT allows virtually endless opportunities and connections to take place, many of which we can't even think of or fully understand the impact of today. In this paper we propose an efficient way to automate the way baggage are handled in airports. The proposed architecture focuses more on the RFID based tracking of the passenger baggage and smarter process of check-in and check-out. We also discussed the advantages of the proposed system.
