In Present Era the importance of Training has been increasing due to technological changes which demands updated knowledge, skills, technical expertise and capabilities. Jobs are becoming more interdependent demanding high interpersonal and problem solving skills, which can be acquired only through training. The objectives of the study are to examine the worth of the training practices conducted by the Bank and measure the satisfaction level of employees regarding this. The researcher has observed that the training programme are conducted by the organization after assessing the training needs and it helps the employees to enhance their learning and also helps the organization to enhance its productivity.
