Any electronic gadget is sold with a copy of an operating manual. The manual is usually a hard copy and thus consumes a lot of energy in its manufacturing. Thus, indirectly these gadgets are adding to the carbon emissions into atmosphere. The paper presents an alternative to ‘operating manual’ paper consumption in the form of embedded memory. The paper proposes a solution to reduce paper consumption in electronics industry.
