this study aims to investigate the role of cost function on the performance of Yemen pharmaceutical companies. The cross-sectional method is used by this study. For measuring the impact of cost function construct on improving the performance, structural questionnaire is used and distributed to 226 employees within the industry. The result shows a significant and positive impact of marginal cost on improving the performance of the Yemen pharmaceutical companies, for the variable cost and total cost the finding revealed negative and significant impact
