The major objective of the research is to analyse A.Seenivasa Ragavan’s Poem translation techniques.A.Seenivasa Ragavan was a tamil Poet,writer,Orator and Professor. In 1968, he was awarded the Sahithya Academy award for Tami for his Collection of Poetry Vellai Paravai(The White bird).A.Seenivasa Ragavan translated The Iliod and The Odeyssey through English in to Tamil. Aa.see.Ra gave explanation about the equivalence in target language,it helps the readers to understand the words and he fallowed the Tamil grammar for transliteration. The design of the study is based on qualitative method and Descriptive approach has been used in this research. This research revealed the techniques of translation in A.Seenivasa Ragavan’s Poems.
