Abstract
The centrality of India in South Asia and Chinese control of Tibet, the water tower of the world places both the nations in an unique position to contribute towards water security of South Asian nations particularly Pakistan & Bangladesh. The ever growing population and the consequent increased demand of water coupled with transboundary nature of most of the major rivers of the region points towards a need for all nation states to come together to secure their future. However, the political differences are a big obstacle. Will the region find a solution?
