Title

Biodegradability Test of PLA Polymer Composite with Addition of Corn Starch as Filler

Abstract

This study has been undertaken to investigate and to determine the Bioresorbability rate of PLA based composite with addition of corn starch up to 30%. Degradation test is conducted as per ISO 10993 hydrolytic degradation test. It is found that degradability rate of the composite increased when compared to virgin PLA composite. PLA is reinforced with natural fiber such as, Hemp and Sisal. Its mechanical properties like Tensile strength, hardness, flexural strength, and impact strength
