PREMATURE GREYING OF HAIR (PGH) is defined as greying of hair before the age of 20years in Caucasians and before 30 years in African and American population. it can severely effect the self esteem of an individual. The exact etiopathogenesis remains unknown, although it as been associated with premature ageing disorder, atopy and autoimmune diseases. patients, who present with PGH, should be assessed for syndromes metabolism diseases. Hence, recent times most of the peoples seek alternative and traditional medication system such as Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Homeopathy and at low cost. Among these, In homeopathy, natural medicines are used to treat any medical condition. As all the medicines are made of natural substances, they are free from any side effects. This is quite beneficial in halting the process of greying of hair. Lycopodium clavatum is a natural homeopathic medicines preparared from a plant named ‘club moss’ from the Lycopodiaceae family. Lycopodium clavatum is amongst one of the highly effective homeopathic medicines that premature greying of hair. Hence, in the present study, we are testing the efficacy of lycopodium 200 in the treatment of premature greying of hair.
