Title

CFD Investigation Of Geothermal Mechanism In Solar Air Heater

Abstract

Proper ventilation in one of the primary requirements of any domestic or commercial buildings. The conventional method employs usage of air conditioning or air-cooling systems which requires high power consumption. The solar driven ventilation systems can be used in buildings which doesn’t require any external power. The current research investigates the application of geothermal structure in solar air heater to improve thermal characteristics. The CAD model of computational domain is developed in Creo design software and CFD analysis is conducted using ANSYS CFX. Standard k-epsilon turbulence model is used for turbulence modelling
