The survey on the occurrence of digenetic trematode parasites [Complexobursa buxarensis (isotype) and Neoaphanuroides ilishai (isotype)] in a fresh water fish, Hilsa ilisha from Varanasi, U.P. were carried out for one annual cycle i.e. December 2018 to December 2019. Percentage of infection of Complexobursa buxarensis was found higher than 27% and of Neoaphanuroides ilishai, higher than 14%. The mean intensity of infection of Complexobursa buxarensis was above two worms per infected fish, maximum intensity of its infection was in March and minimum percentage of infection during October while the mean intensity of infection of Neoaphanuroides ilishai was below two worms per infected fish and its intensity of infection was maximum during June and minimum in January.
