To attract large number of audiences, literature writings are adapted by film makers to make movies. The main idea of these adaptations is to give visual intrigue to the writers work. Also, there are large number of readers who read novels and literary subjects of various genres and themes. Film making fulfils the craving of a huge heterogeneous crowd with the component of pleasure and amusement. Film adaptations go back years prior when individuals had restricted choices for entertainment and recreational exercises. The study is a qualitative research based on the adaptation of ‘Five Point Someone’ by Chetan Bhagat into a film ‘3 Idiots’ by Aamir Khan.
