Abstract: For current scenario power quality in distribution network has an important aspect for the electrical system. This paper illustrates the review of different enhancement mechanism of power quality in distribution network using D-STATCOM with different controlling approaches. As we know that the load of the current electrical system should be more sensitive and also a greater number of non-linear elements increasing as load so the system becomes complex, with harmonic load. The need of enhancement or improvement of power quality is vital role in the future electrical system.
