Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan is a phrase translated into 'Self Reliant Bharat' coined by the Indian Prime Minister Sh. Narender Modi as a road map to the road ahead. It was the time when the world was experiencing acute economic and social distress caused by the Covid pandemic. At such a time, the initiation of Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan means something which is believed to rely upon the five pillars of the economy, infrastructure, system, demography and demand. This leads to a series of mega relaxation, reforms, and economic packages, as a tool for corrective and booster measures for an economic slowdown. Here MSMEs sector got a special mention and attention and was entrusted to deliver well in the future in the different spheres. Thus the present research work is presenting an analytical view of the state of MSMEs in the Indian economy and ABA.
