This paper examines Webometric analysis the website of University Grants Commission (UGC) recognized state universities of Maharashtra in India. This study covered 19 universities of Maharashtra. The identified and classified the domains like State Universities, There is found that, out of 19 states, Tamil Nadu has a maximum of 28 universities, it is followed by Maharashtra 23. Out of this 23 UGC recognized are 19 Universities. The study calculated the Internal Link, External Link, and External Back links of the website. Identifies the domain systems of the website.The study also found the other important outputs like page size of the websites have been reflected in this study and give idea about quality of the websites. Analyses the number of link pages, and calculates Ratio of External & Internal links and also the Domain Authority and Page Authority of the University websites in Maharashtra.At the moment, the technologies and applications have made the internet an important medium of communication and information dissemination.
