This study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of topical application of Phenytoin and Normal dressing on patients suffering from Grade-I and Grade-II Pressure Ulcers. A Quasi Experimental (two group pre-test post-test) design including demographical variables and Push TOOL 3.0 was used. An evaluative approach was used to conduct this study. The results of the study showed that rate of healing among patients with Grade -I and Grade – II pressure ulcer who received topical application of Phenytoin Solution was significantly higher compared to patients with Pressure Ulcer of Grade – I and Grade – II who received topical application of Betadine and Normal saline. The results of the study showed that rate of healing among patients with Grade -I and Grade – II pressure ulcer who received topical application of Phenytoin Solution was significantly higher compared to patients with Pressure Ulcer of Grade – I and Grade – II who received topical application of Betadine and Normal saline
